Description
The Lombardini engine LDW 502 M is the smallest of the Lombardini FOCS engine family (LDW 502M, LDW 702M, LDW 1003M, LDW 1404M). It is a lightweight and compact diesel inboard marine engine, offering the highest level of reliability. Liquid-cooled with heat exchanger, built with an aluminum base and resettable rods, it is the lightest of the FOCS series.

It is a family of 4-stroke marine diesel inboard engines (LDW 502 M, LDW 702 M, LDW 1003 M, LDW 1404 M) liquid cooled with heat exchanger, with zinc anode, monobloc cylinder block in cast iron (in aluminum on LDW 502M) with rebreatable liners, monolithic aluminum head, indirect injection with pump-injector, single overhead shaft distribution, timing control with toothed belt; oil pump on the crankshaft; fresh water pump in the monobloc; water-cooled exhaust pipe; self-priming sea water pump; air intake filter. Special anti-corrosion treatments.
